Once I Wrote A Poem

I won a $250 prize for it. So I don't write poetry anymore. I figured, why not quit while you're ahead?

Seriously, though, I'm not a poet.

But you can still read it.

Writing

I wrote my first novel last fall, a project that began in National Novel Writing Month. I am currently in the re-writing phase of that project. I am also sending several short stories around to various zines. I write mostly science fiction these days, with an emphasis on the space opera sub-genre. Think of this page as a window into my journey through the slightly demoralizing world of "trying to get published."
